Fulton Farms

We did our annual Fulton Farms trip twice this year. We went a few weeks ago to get pumpkin and hay and then went back this past weekend to do the hay ride and pick our pumpkins. The boys had a lot of fun and did great! Brady was so worn out that he fell asleep on the way back to the farm on the tractor. Of course, our camera battery died so we have no pictures of the hay ride or picking pumpkins from the pumpkin patch, but I am just learning that with two young children you just roll with the punches...lol.

Cincinnati Zoo

We went to The Cincinnati Zoo on Labor Day. Waking up to rain and a forecast of non stop rain all day made me very nervous, but we went ahead and went and i am glad we did because there was not one rain drop the whole time that we were there. Coby's favorite animals were the sea lions because they were really active and kept making their loud barking noises that he thought was really neat. Brady was so attentive to all of the animals but really responded when he saw the Gorillas and the Giraffes. By the end we had a really great day and the kids were very worn out. I love seeing how the kids react to all of the different animals and what they are doing. Maybe next year we can ditch the double stroller and not have so much to push up all of the hills:).

Seagrove Beach

We took our family vacation the first week of August. Seagrove Beach has become one of our favorite places to visit. It is beautiful and very quiet. The ocean is very calm most days with clear blue water and white sand on the beach.

The boys did very well and seemed to have a lot of fun. They did awesome on the 15 hour each way trip there and back ( I must admit I was very nervous on how this was going to turn out). Both of them loved the water and swam in the ocean many times. After Coby would be finished at the ocean he would start to say "I want to go to the gool" it was funny, I do not think we ever got him to say pool.

After seeing many other families taking family pictures on the dunes, we decided we would also. I really love how all of the pictures turned out of all of us. We will definetly do it is years to come also.

All in all it was a wonderful trip and I feel blessed that we were able to go to such a beautiful place and that my children were able to experience all of the joys of a vacation and visiting the ocean at such a young age. There are definetly a lot of good memories of which I will never forget.

Visiting with Owen Hughes

When Ryan and Jess came home to visit before Ben's wedding we got a chance to get together and have the kids play. It was really great to watch them interact and see just how alike Owen and Brady are. We all had a really great time and look forward to seeing them again soon.

Youngs Dairy Farm

We took the boys to Youngs Dairy Farm for dinner and to see the animals. It was a great trip and we had a lot of fun. It was really great to see how excited they were. Brady kept talking about the cow and saying moooo. It was a trip I will always remember and can't wait to go back sometime again soon!

St. Chris Festival

We took the kids back to the festival this year. Last year, Coby was eighteen months and Brady was only about two months, so this year they could do a lot more. Coby did really well on the rides and did not get scared. I was very proud of him. Brady rode the merry go round twice and played the games. They had fun and Coby still talks about going "round and round" on the jeep and motorcycle. It is so cute to hear him say it. Can't wait to go back next year and see what all they are able to do then.

Brady's first birthday weekend

The weekend of Brady's first birthday was very busy. His actual birthday was Friday April 24th. On this day we went shopping for his party and then went to get both boys pictures taken. They did a very good job and we were very happy with the pictures that we got. For dinner that night we met our family at Marions for pizza, cupcakes and some gifts. The next day (Saturday) was Kyle and Brittany's senior prom and mommy made cakes all day long. Finally Sunday, was the big party. All of the children had a lot of fun on Brady's cousin Karissa's big blow up jump house. Brady got a ton of clothes and toys and the weather was absolutely gorgeous.

Our baby is now one and I can not believe it has already been a year since Coby was just an only child. Every day with the kids is such a blessing and a ton of fun. We could not ask for any more:)
